Special Event - Boat Shrink Wrap Recycling

Boat Wrap Recycling Logo (4).png

Winnebago County Solid Waste has partnered with Becher Plastics in Neenah to collect and recycle boat shrink wrap on June 1st!

Keep your boat wrap plastic out of the landfill, and have it recycled with Becher Plastics in Neenah! This one-day drop-off event is open to residents and businesses. Please read the instructions below as we will not accept contaminated material.

EVENT DETAILS:
Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: 2240 Harrison St. Neenah, WI 54956

CLEAN WRAP ONLY:
The wrap must be free of all non-shrink wrap material, including the plastic straps used to cinch the wrap to the belly of the boat. The best way to remove shrink wrap is to cut the wrap above the strap around the belly of the boat, so the straps fall away, leaving only shrink wrap.
Contaminated material will not be accepted.
