Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
(excluding holidays)

All three lanes are open at the scale. Please use the overhead signs at the entrance to determine which lane to use. All users must check in with the scale operator before proceeding beyond the scale office.

Per Winnebago County General Code 15.51(3), all loads must be covered during transportation to this facility.

Cash, check, and debit/credit cards are accepted.​

Transfer Station users must wear HIGH-VISIBILITY CLOTHING as their outermost layer and covering the front and back of their torso. Safety vests are sold at the Scale Office. All other users may hand-unload at the dumpsters behind the scale office and no vest is required.

Fee Schedule - as of January 1, 2025
Be in line by closing time and you will be allowed to use the facility. Want to avoid the rush? Peak use hours tend to be 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., weekdays and 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturdays. Mondays and Fridays are the busiest weekdays.
